Many Miles later....

So sorry that this has taken so long. I've been trying to come up with some way to relay our experience concisely, accurately, and creatively. I haven't figured out how to do that yet, so I though I'd just go ahead and lay something out there.

We left camp on the 11th, blessed by a GPS and prayers from Russ Schultz and David Jacquess. Wichita that night. Stayed until Friday morning and then left for Denver. Used the restroom at a warehouse where a kind guy let us use the bathroom and then later a sweet old Catholic woman named Dilly.

Friday night in Denver we arrived at one of Denver Rescue Mission's branches called The Crossing, a long-term rehab facility. We were shown to our rooms (the place used to be a hotel so our accommodations were comfortable) and then immediately put to work in the kitchen. The next began what was to become our long-term project at the downtown Denver Rescue Mission across from the Triangle.
What is the Triangle I can hear you say? Well dear comrades, it is the spot in Denver for crack/meth/vice of choice.

I'll leave it there for the moment, I promise I'll finish that.

Thanks for the prayers that many of you have passed along, God has been hearing and blessing His children.

We're in Salt Lake City now.

Found ourselves

So the trip has begun. We are wrapping up day three. Wednesday we were on the road, stayed with my Mom in Wichita, stayed Thursday then left early this morning. We arrived at Denver Rescue Mission at 43o, were shown to our rooms and immediately began work.

Tomorrow we will be at the downtown location at 530 am to begin our day. And a long one it will be.
We have been blessed beyond reason so far. I can't wait to say more about it, but for now I must rest.
