Worship.

After an extensive nap, I came to get a coffee and kill the caffeine headache.
The live music tonight at the coffee shop was provided my Mike, a very talented, funny, blind musician.
He is now playing Yes Jesus Loves me on the keyboard with a kazoo accompanist, female, age 8, or maybe 9.
Still couchsurfing.

A good day to die.

Currently couch surfing.
Yesterday was the canoe trip for Session 3. 14 miles. 8 hours. Lots of bumps (my leg looks like a lumpy pillow). Slept in my hammock, woke up at 8 (praise God!) to my four of my girls prodding me awake.
Julia: Ms. Emma!
Me: ahhhhuuuuuhh
Taylor: wake up!
Julia: Ms. Emma you passed out during your prayer last night. You were like 'mmmuuummmhhhhh protect these beautiful girls...muhhhhhmen...munnhhhhh'
Shelby: then you woke up and said: 'Did any of that make sense?' And then 'Amen'

Hopefully the HS (holy spirit, duh) can translate mumble.

I ran the numbers for the trip. If we take off from Siloam, stop in Wichita, then Denver, then Reno, San Fran, LA, San Diego, Phoenix, and then Albuquerque the whole trip will be about 3,974 miles.
We'll take a couple days to get ready after camp, and then we're off.
We'll be reading through the gospels as we go, studying how Jesus ministered as He traveled so we may learn from Him. I hope I get to flip over a table....
How can I pray for you brothers and sisters?

Infection.

Yes.
How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news?
Isaiah 52 (somewhere...I think)
No, you're right. I have no idea what I'm doing. I have a little bit of money, student loans, other debts and ties, and I'm going to go stay with people I don't know, find food where it can be found, and pray...that something happens...Maybe we can preach the night away until some kid sitting in the window is so tired he falls--asleep--and then out-- the window. We'll go dog pile him and march out of that town, the whole place celebrating because he lives.
Maybe that. Maybe not.
Acts, baby. Quite theatrical at times.

So pray for us also, that we may proclaim the gospel as we should. That we speak not with our tongues but with the spirit's leading, that we love people like they're rockstars, that we act in a manner worthy of the calling, that we find a place to lay our heads...but just until we're called away, that we let our flesh rot as our spirits are renewed.
Thank you brothers and sisters.

Well,
Hong Kong is over. As is Laos.
Quick update: moved on from a bad relationship, graduated college, currently working at a camp.
God is good, all the time.
Because the adventure is different this time I'm moving locations.
Follow me there?
